The IMS5400 white light interferometer has been extended with the IMP-TH70 sensor. At 70 mm, the sensor enables a working distance of almost twice as much as before while at the same time offering an increased tilt angle. With a resolution < 1 nm, the sensor is used for high precision thickness measurements of very thin glasses and films.
