Temperature compensation

Mechanical components and electronic components of a measuring system are dependent on temperature. It’s possible to reduce these components to a minimum by constructive measures and choosing suitable materials and parts. In order to reduce thermal influences on the measurement result, a so-called temperature compensation is often applied. For this purpose, the measurement deviations caused by fluctuating temperatures are determined in the factory to adjust the sensor correspondingly. This compensates for temperature-dependent influences on the signal.
